Avenger, and most currently, Chicago Rush player, Russell Shaw signed to play with the Blackhawks through 2009. Shaw has always been familiar with the Blackhawks as his cousin is current Blackhawk receiver, Dartae Frierson and owner Tony Reid is also family to Shaw.

| The Buffalo Bills will play in Toronto on Dec. 7 against Miami as part of an effort to expand their market to Canada.
This marks the first time the Bills will play during the regular season in Toronto, about a 1˝-hour drive from Buffalo. The game was one of the highlights of the NFL schedule released Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League will be hosting their First minor League Arena Tournament of the 2008 season on Saturday, April 12, 2008. Six of the eight teams in the tournament will be representing the LCFL West. The participants are: Inglewood Blackhawks, Southern California Steelers, California Dolphins, Barstow Riffians, Moreno Valley Mercury, Long Beach Lions, Beach City All Americans, and the California Cardinals. Both the All Americans and Cardinals are not members of the LCFL.

The Jacob’s Light foundations Mission is to send our military overseas necessities and comforts from home. They focus on military without family or support from home. They want to give them the support they need and to be a lifeline from America. Arrest warrant issued for ex-Giants WR Ingram
