The LCFL made a major power move Saturday by joining forces with the North American Football League (NAFL) for a dual alliance. Each respective league will continue to keep it's identity and same format. Nothing changes but the fact that the LCFL West will now play in their playoff system after our own playoffs. The NAFL is the largest minor league football league in the entire U.S.  With this dual alliance, it allows for the LCFL West to participate in the NAFL National Playoff system. With the FWFA in limbo, this will still give the LCFL representation on a national stage. Not only will this format allow our champion to participate in the National Playoffs, but it may allow for our #2 and #3 seeded teams to be involved as well depending on there record and ranking. » read more
Casino Bowl, the nation’s premier semi-pro All Star Football Game, has openings at all positions at this time. Casino Bowl XIII will be played on Saturday, March 29, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Your Pro Day, in conjunction with authorization from the D.F.L (Developmental Football League) will hold Two Pro Style combines in the Month of March. These combines will serve as qualifiers for the 2008 D.F.L. Draft. This is a legitimate opportunity, as the Director of Player Personnel,Coach Michael Greer will be in attendance, and will be prepared to sign an agreement with athletes that meet the D.F.L. standard of excellence. » read more
The 8th Annual Southern States Football League Championship Game will be played April 26, 2008 in the Florida Citrus Bowl, Orlando, Florida. This is the 5th consecutive year the game has been played in the 75,000 seat Citrus Bowl Stadium. » read more
The Developmental Football League announced the placement of the first five players selected to be eligible for the DFL Draft to be held June 16-17, 2008. The players named today are the beginning of a steady stream to be revealed throughout the upcoming weeks to accentuate each athlete. To close out their training camp, the Omaha Beef, professional indoor football team, will hold a scrimmage tomorrow evening, starting at 6 p.m.

The Jacob’s Light foundations Mission is to send our military overseas necessities and comforts from home. They focus on military without family or support from home. They want to give them the support they need and to be a lifeline from America. The Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League will be hosting their First minor League Arena Tournament of the 2008 season on Saturday, April 12, 2008. Six of the eight teams in the tournament will be representing the LCFL West. The participants are: Inglewood Blackhawks, Southern California Steelers, California Dolphins, Barstow Riffians, Moreno Valley Mercury, Long Beach Lions, Beach City All Americans, and the California Cardinals. The Buffalo Bills will play in Toronto on Dec. 7 against Miami as part of an effort to expand their market to Canada. This marks the first time the Bills will play during the regular season in Toronto, about a 1½-hour drive from Buffalo.
